There are two buttons on the back. You can set the ringing time to 3 seconds or 60 seconds, and the volume can be set to low or loud. This allows you to meet your needs on different occasions.

To stop the beep, turn the control knob clockwise to the "5" position and then quickly turn it back to "0".

NOTE: Requires 2 "AAA" batteries (not included). Only new "AAA" Alkaline batteries can be used in this device. Rechargeable batteries can damage the timer and should not be used. Do not mix old and new batteries.
